Freshman applicants for fall 2025 and fall 2026 term have the option of being reviewed with or without test scores. Choosing an application review without test scores will mean your admissibility will be determined by a committee. The committee will require additional information including extracurricular activities and how you will contribute to the Missouri S&T community in addition to your high school transcript. Scholarships, honors participation, and other opportunities may be more limited for choosing to review without test scores.
Students planning to attend Missouri S&T should follow a college preparatory curriculum completing at least 17 units of credit. Students wishing to graduate high school before a traditional 8 semesters are considered on a case-by-case basis under close consultation with local school districts and individual circumstances.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND STANDARDIZED TESTS
Take the ACT or SAT in the spring of your junior year and fall of your senior semester. Missouri S&T accepts ACT and SAT Superscores. To send test scores directly from the testing agency, use the Missouri S&T codes: ACT: 2398 || SAT: 6876
Students applying with their ACT are required to take the math, science, reading, and English sections.
Students choosing to be reviewed with test scores will be evaluated on a combination of high school record including classes, grade point average (GPA) or class rank, and standardized examinations (ACT or SAT test). Students who attend non-ranking high schools are evaluated for admission based on their grade point average (GPA) in combination with their test scores.
